We appreciate your participation in our coverage of the new year's celebrations. Last night, we enjoyed viewing fireworks from New Zealand to the western coast of the USA and a few Pacific islands.

People all over the world have enjoyed ringing in the new year without Covid limitations for the first time in a few years, from displays at the London Eye to Sydney's harbour front.

For the new year, northeastern China's winter tourist destination, Harbin Ice and Snow World, has reopened.

One of the largest ice and snow festivals in the entire world, the yearly event takes place every year.

A total of 810,000 square metres of ice and snow, or about 150,000 cubic metres, have been cut into towers and structures.

The theme park was crowded with visitors on the last day of 2022 after two years of pandemic-control efforts.

The party is almost finished.

Only a few Pacific islands, such as Hawaii and Tahiti, are remaining to ring in the new year in the coming moments, bringing the celebrations to a close almost exactly one year after they began.

Emirate makes an attempt at a world-record fireworks spectacular.

With their New Year's Eve fireworks display, the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates tried to shatter one world record and set another.

With this show, the record for "most remotely operated multirotors or drones releasing pyrotechnics simultaneously" will be broken. In Saudi Arabia, it was last broken in October 2022 with 548.

It also aims to break the previous record for the largest multirotor or drone aerial phrase.

Ras Al Khaimah set a new record for the largest multirotor or drone fireworks display last New Year's Eve, reaching a height of 1055.8 metres.

The majority of the continent of America has now rung in the new year; Alaska will be the last US state to do so in 2023.

The Peach Drop event, which was fully reinstated after a two-year break due to the pandemic, was held in the US city of Atlanta in Georgia (also known as the peach state) to celebrate the new year.

The last two years, the London New Year's Day Parade has been held, but with limitations due to Covid. Bob Bone, the event's founder, exclaims with delight that this year's event would be "bigger and better than ever before."

"Wonderful to be back. Nothing compares to the actual thing, and the huge procession is returning today "Informing Zoids  Breakfast.

Before the procession began on New Year's Day, according to David, London was peaceful.

We simply got the idea to infuse the city with a little British pomp, circumstance, and ceremony as well as some fantastic American fun and joy. And for the past 37 years, we haven't turned around. Today, we could reach far over 300 million people.

A few of the artists practising for the New Year's Day Parade's activities have been speaking as the city of London gets ready for the event.

The Florida-based Greenwave Marching Band's director, Lederian Townsend, claimed that the students had put in a lot of effort to get to this point. They have survived Hurricane Ian [earlier this year] and Covid, and now we are in London, one of the greatest cities in the world.

"Many of the students you see here lost their homes after Hurricane Ian directly hit us. They persevered and managed to arrive. It is a life-changing experience to finally visit London after spending so much time reading about it in books.

At midnight, fireworks and other festivities heralded the start of the New Year across the nation. The year 2023 in Karachi began with handshakes, aerial shooting, fireworks, and firecrackers.

The youth in Karachi held fireworks celebrations, among other locations, at the seashore, an exhibition chowrangi, and a private housing society.

At Five Star Chowrangi, a sizable crowd gathered on New Year's Eve to celebrate the occasion.

In addition to this, citizens of Islamabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, and other cities flocked to the streets.

On the other hand, on the occasion of the New Year, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wished the country well and expressed his prayers for world peace and happiness in 2023 as well as for Pakistan's political and economic stability.

He claimed that while the flood catastrophes of 2022 worsened Pakistan's troubles and suffering, the three crore three million floods of 2023 will make things better for the sufferers.

As the globe faces numerous challenges in the coming year, including climate change, he declared that they will create opportunity for their kids.

The new year will be a year of liberation for Palestine and Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

He claimed that the nation honours its national martyrs on New Year's Days.

For several US and Canadian communities, the countdown to the New Year continues.

Toronto's downtown is getting set for the celebration of the New Year. There are millions of lights throughout the city, and millions of people are hoping for fresh starts.

More Canadian and American communities are preparing to ring in 2023.

As the clock ticks closer to midnight, people in Denver, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Calgary, and Edmonton are eager to pop the champagne corks.

Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver residents will need to wait a bit longer because it will take them more than an hour to ring in the new year.

At 10:00 GMT, Hawaii will be among the final states to celebrate.
