People all over the world have enjoyed ringing in the new year without Covid limitations for the first time in a few years, from displays at the London Eye to Sydney's harbour front.

For the new year, a Chinese snow and ice theme park is back.

For the new year, northeastern China's winter tourist destination, Harbin Ice and Snow World, has reopened.

One of the largest ice and snow festivals in the entire world, the yearly event takes place every year.

Emirate makes an attempt at a world-record fireworks spectacular.

With their New Year's Eve fireworks display, the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates tried to shatter one world record and set another.

With this show, the record for "most remotely operated multirotors or drones releasing pyrotechnics simultaneously" will be broken. In Saudi Arabia, it was last broken in October 2022 with 548.

It also aims to break the previous record for the largest multirotor or drone aerial phrase.

Ras Al Khaimah set a new record for the largest multirotor or drone fireworks display last New Year's Eve, reaching a height of 1055.8 metres.

America, happy new year

The majority of the continent of America has now rung in the new year; Alaska will be the last US state to do so in 2023.

The Peach Drop event, which was fully reinstated after a two-year break due to the pandemic, was held in the US city of Atlanta in Georgia (also known as the peach state) to celebrate the new year.


The last two years, the London New Year's Day Parade has been held, but with limitations due to Covid. Bob Bone, the event's founder, exclaims with delight that this year's event would be "bigger and better than ever before."

Before the procession began on New Year's Day, according to David, London was peaceful.

A few of the artists practising for the New Year's Day Parade's activities have been speaking as the city of London gets ready for the event.

The Florida-based Greenwave Marching Band's director, Lederian Townsend, claimed that the students had put in a lot of effort to get to this point. They have survived Hurricane Ian [earlier this year] and Covid, and now we are in London, one of the greatest cities in the world.

"Many of the students you see here lost their homes after Hurricane Ian directly hit us. They persevered and managed to arrive. It is a life-changing experience to finally visit London after spending so much time reading about it in books.

Happy New Year Pakistan!

At midnight, fireworks and other festivities heralded the start of the New Year across the nation. The year 2023 in Karachi began with handshakes, aerial shooting, fireworks, and firecrackers.

The youth in Karachi held fireworks celebrations, among other locations, at the seashore, an exhibition chowrangi, and a private housing society.

At Five Star Chowrangi, a sizable crowd gathered on New Year's Eve to celebrate the occasion.
