The playing eleven for the second Cricket test match against New Zealand was decided upon by the temporary selection committee and the captain.

The starting XI will be Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafiq, Shaan Masood, and Saud Shakeel. Hasan Ali, Mir Hamza, Abrar Ahmed, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and Salman Ali Agha will also join.

While Nouman Ali will be rested, Hasan Ali will be a member of the team. Prior to the game, it will be decided whether to include Wasim Jr. or Sajid Khan.

The second Test between Pakistan and New Zealand will begin tomorrow in Karachi, it should be noted. A pitch that is friendly to bowlers has been created, and spectator admittance is free.

The Karachi Test was saved by Pakistan. The Pakistan vs. New Zealand Test in Karachi Cricket Stadium ended in a tie.

New Zealand was assigned a 138-run target by Pakistan. In the second innings, Pakistan scored 311 runs against 8 wickets to declare the innings. With 55 runs, Saud Shakeel was still going strong.

The second innings saw 61 runs for New Zealand. Low light forced an early match termination.

Earlier on the fifth day, Pakistan began their second innings with a score of 82 after losing two wickets for a score of 77 runs. Nouman Ali then went back to the pavilion.

On a score of 100, Imamul Haq was stumped out after reaching 96 runs, while Babar Azam was dismissed after scoring just 14 runs, Sarfaraz Ahmed had scored 53 runs and Agha Salman only six.

Mohammad Wasim, who hit 43 runs and was out for Pakistan's ninth time, was given out by Ash Sodhi after being sent out by lbw.

In Karachi, Pakistan and New Zealand's two-game Test series began with the first game. On Thursday, Pakistan's squad had amassed 77 runs for the loss of 2 wickets by the close of the fourth day.
